Our Programs & Initiatives

Each program is designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and community for neurodiverse learners.

STEM Workshops

Sessions where neurodiverse teens code simple games, build LEGO‑based robots, and run hands‑on science demos. Every activity is scaffolded with visual instructions, sensory breaks, and peer mentoring so learners of all ability levels can explore technology with confidence.

Digital Art Therapy

Guided digital‑drawing and animation classes that turn tablets into safe spaces for self‑expression. Participants practice mindfulness doodles, storyboarding, and collaborative murals while learning basic design software. Sessions reduce anxiety, build fine‑motor skills, and let students showcase their unique creative voices.

Neurodiversity Seminar Series

Quarterly talks and panel discussions that demystify autism, ADHD, and other IDDs for caregivers, educators, and healthcare staff. Speakers with lived experience share practical classroom strategies, while clinicians present up‑to‑date research on inclusive supports. Resources and slide decks are provided to all attendees.

Memory Bank

A pilot project that pairs volunteers with early‑stage Alzheimer’s clients to record life stories, favorite songs, and family recipes. Audio and photo books are compiled and gifted to each family, preserving identity and connection for future generations. Volunteers receive training in compassionate interviewing.

Testimonials

"Since joining the STEM Enrich workshops my daughter talks non‑stop about the activities. The happiness she brings home each week is something we’d never seen in other programs."

Mrs. Rodriguez, Parent

"Volunteering at STEM Enrich taught me more about patience and creative teaching than any class at school. Watching a student light up when her code finally worked—that moment is why I’m pursuing engineering."
